What do I add to essential oils so I can use them in an oil burner?

Essential oils are concentrated, and burn very fast. I want to use them in an oil burner- the kind where you use a tea light to heat the oil. Thanks in advance for your thoughtful, expert answers!

it shouldnā€™t - i personally havenā€™t noticed a smell to Almond Oil. I have with coconut oil but thatā€™s because I use unrefined, so you might prefer the refined coconut oil.

Just put a drop on a light bulb and you will get the scent.

You can use a carrier oil like extra virgin olive oil (there is a mild, almost flavorless variety used for baking so the scent of the essential oil will not be overcome by it. Coconut oil is good.

I would not put any oil product on a light bulb because it can cause the bulb to explode. Lightbulb glass is a nightmare to clean up in the first place, and if it is the glass from a compact fluorescent, it's even worse because they're made with small amounts of mercury.
