You will need one made for glass and tile so you don't crack the glass.
This may be overkill but I always put masking tape over part I am going to drill with glass bit. Works for me.
You need a special machine from a craft store to cut the glass. You also need a grinding wheel to smooth the glass. Better check with a craft store such as Michael's or A.C.Moore or Hobby Lobby. Good Luck!
