    You need the right tool for the job. That includes glue. What are you intending to do? What is your project? What materials are you using? I use wood glue and screws (when appropriate) when fixing wood furniture, for example. I use hot glue when doing projects like wreath making. I use rubber cement and wheat paste for making minor repairs to certain old hardcover books. Sadly your question does not define what you intend, so I can't give you a more direct answer.

    depends quick grip is the best for most things like glass and metal , wood.. elmer wood glue or heavy duty glue liquid nails gorilla glue epoxy is great too

    I find good old Aylmer's glue works great for most crafts and a hot glue gun is also handy when crafting
