What is the best and easiest way to cover brass on ceiling fans

I have 3 ceiling fans and a chandelier that are the old style brass. I would like to update them but don’t know how and can’t afford to actually replace them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

lightly sand or clean with Purple power. Rinse well. Then you can spray paint any color you want with Rustoleum. Put painters tape around the ceiling fixture then tape up newspaper. Take a box and put it around the fixture to avoid over spray. Wear a mask and spray.

Spray paint and proper prep...definitely scuff it up with sand paper of steel wool (wipe the steel filings off).

Removing them would make painting them easier. Otherwise you would need to cover ceiling, walls, furnishings to prevent overspray.

Thanks all. It seems that spray painting is the technique recommended. I will definitely have to take them down to paint.
