What is the best way to hang a painting in the wall without damaging?

Everytime i hang a board, a painting, my wall gets a bit damaged. What should i use?

They sell wall mounts for pictures in Michaels that only use a tiny nail at an angle that you nail into a hook that tells you how much weight it can hold.
What kind of damage is caused? How are you trying to hang them? Please give a little more detail.
Any hardware or home improvement store will have a variety of picture hanging options depending if your walls are sheetrock, plaster, brick, etc.

If you mean at the corners, you can buy felt pads to put on the corners of the painting to protect the walls. If you mean to actually HANG the painting, then try 3-M Hooks.
The wall hangers that can be removed without damage. 3M makes them. They can be expensive. There are off brands that work beautifully too. They usually specify the amount of weight it will handle. Really terrific solution
