You can buy medal plate hangers. I don't trust the stick on hooks, as I hung a 20-30 yr old picture last week & it let go & broke glass & next up frame. The medal plate hangers can be spray painted to hide the edges of them or hobby shops sells wooden ones that look like frames. You can repaint them. Good luck.

There are many ways to hang plates on a wall from metal plate hangers to floating shelves. You need to take into consideration the "look" of the total room and the wall area you have to hang the plates. Go to Pinterest for many examples.

I would first mount one or two floating shelves on the wall. The hardware for floating shelves is completely hidden. Then display the plates on the shelf.

This way you won't be faced with multiple holes in the wall when you decide to change the arrangement, change which plates you want to display during different seasons, to accomodate new plates in your collection.

Having the floating shelves on the wall will anchor the whole display, give the collection an upgraded look, and will help avoid the junky look that too many small uncohesive items on a wall often result in.
