What kind of glue do I use to make a garden globe?

I have the dollar store glass gems and an old light globe and want to make a garden globe.

  • E6000. I did a test project with hot glue, no go, after an afternoon in the hot sun, they popped off - it was actually amusing to watch, sorta like gemstone popcorn. Craft stores, home improvement stores carry it.

    I would suggest an epoxy for outdoor use.this way it will withstand any in climate weather.

    Construction adhesive, the kind that dries clear, worked for me. Only lost one stone after a season outdoors.

    i cover a bowling ball in glass (stained glass pieces) a use clear silacone for tubs too seal them its florida so wanted strong and water proof it still holding up after 2 yrs been told gorilla clear glue works too

      I live in Nebraska..where the weather can change in a "heart-beat!" I always use Loctite clear silicone (water proof sealant) on all my outside projects! You can get it from Mennards...etc. Just made several "gem-globes" for our garden.

    i used clear silicone sealent used for tubs and showers its water proof they have it in white too and some are paintable
