Pat whitmus on Jan 14, 2016A glass drill bit can be use to put a hole in the bottle so that an electric strand can be inserted and the plug is still on the outside of the bottle. The process is very easy to do. Put glass under water where bit can reach the area you want to drill then push the bit against the glass for about 5 second intervals allowing the glass and bit to cool off in-between each push of the drill. Push for 5 seconds, release for 1 second and repeat. Bits can be purchased on line through Rio Grand Jewelry out of New Mexico.Helpful Reply
