A painting you would enjoy looking at daily or paint the wall or do both. Good luck.
There are so many clever ideas out there, I will send you these to look over. You will come up with something you really love.

Pick a color scheme that you like - generally a neutral, with an accent color. I would not use the glass - that looks like an accident waiting to happen. Lots of headboards for under $30,00 at thrift stores, church sales Habitat for Humanity Restore. I would get one of those and paint it a say color, or cover it with fabric.
Hello. I think the old window would make a great head board. I would paint it a color that is soothing to you and goes with your decor. Then I would distress it a little (only if you like that look). You can do that by lightly sanding the edges of the window after the paint has dried. In the back of the window you could put little tacks or nails and put battery operated fairy lights or plug in lights. If you don't like the clear glass find a fabric or rice paper that you could put on the back of the glass. Good Luck.
I would not use anything with glass in it over my bed. Since I like to read in bed I would always want a headboard of some sort. Since you say the wall is narrower than the queen sized bed and since the bed is just really the mattress and springs would you be willing to get a double sized set? I have seen very attractive head boards at Christmas Tree shop and also at discount/surplus stores. I have also made one but don't think you have asked about how to do that.
Well, I’d hang the window horizontally. Buy a kit anywhere with picture frame wire and or back hooks or whatever. Do pay attention to the weight of your frame and secure your nails into studs.
First, however, I’d cover both side of the glass. The back with either lots of duct tape or full-size pieces of contact paper.
For the front, I’d cut carboard to fit each panel, then cover the cardboard with a fun fabric or great old scarves, or collages of ribbons, or whatever. They can be glued on or double-face taped. Or a trip to CVS, you can have them change old photos to black and white and do a photo collage.
You can find self-stick hooks if you don’t want to do the nails/screws drilling thing. But I’d use at least ten, considering the weight of your glass window.
For the windows, get some curtains. Hang the rods, and curtains to overhang the windows themselves, a bit behind your bed. If you love the green on your bed (it is happy), then use that color. Get a color that makes you smile and relax. Get them with just enough weight, or full enough for privacy so you can let your shades up a bit for light.
You can use Command hooks to hold the curtain rods. Plain white rods are pretty inexpensive.
