Just wondering if we should include linen and towels? Also what kind. Has two beds in loft. Two beds downstairs!

Unless you state just the cabin in your ads, I would say yes. Doesn't have to be pricey, just well made for repeated washing. Although hard on the owner to keep up with, it is better for guests to not have to provide their own linens. Would make the place more desirable. Also any kitchen equipment needed. Plates/pots/utensils, etc. This is one persons opinion, I'm sure you will get plenty of others :) Good luck and hope it is profitable for you.

You don't really specify if this is a short-term vacation rental or a long-term lease -- like a rented apartment or home. For short-term vacationers, I would say yes, bed linens and towels should be provided, just as if one was staying in a hotel. As Kathleen said, it doesn't have to be expensive linens (because some people will trash them, or accidentally (or even intentially) end up taking them home and you will probably have to replace them frequently. Even just the wear and tear of frequent washing after guests depart will probably require them to be replaced more often than one would have to typically replace linens in their own home. If you are renting on a long-term basis (seasonal or yearly) and the place is fully furnished, I would say you should probably provide linens to fit the beds that are there. It would be nice to provide towels too but that could be optional since buying a few towels would not be a major expense for a long-term renter to purchase, and then they could take them when they leave. People always have a need for towels (but not necessarily linens for the size beds in your rental).

Absolutely, furnishing linens/bedding, as well as towels are all very important factors in accommodating your guest/client. Not that these items have to be pricey, but should be durable. Not only will the items assist in adding 'flavor" to your rental but, will assist in your pricing package as well. Flannel bedding is always a great feel in the winter. Lots of pillows is another bonus! Especially throw pillows in a variety of patterns & colors which allows for a number of different choices when it comes to the bedding, towels, etc. They assist in tying it all together.

It's a must do! It's to hard to travel with linens~ esp if flying!! And to perhaps have to buy different sizes in bedding would turn many people away~

@Marielle If you booked on-line you could ask the renter for this information. We rented in Florida and linens were included, but apparently we needed to wash at the end. So you may want that to be specified as well. We did bring spices etc. with us but had to go out and get more - dollar store near by so not expensive and we left for the next guests. If you have a favourite coffee you may want to bring that as well. Filters? not sure what type to bring pick both types up at the dollar store. Hope you have a great time - hope it isn't too soon as it is so coooooollllldddd in Alberta at the moment!

Your guests will greatly appreciate it if you include basic linens and paper goods. It is much easier not to have to pack that sort of stuff.
