  • Try peeling off what you can by hand and with a razor blade. A glass cleaner should loosen the adhesive, if not there's contact paper adhesive remover. These days you can get stick on stuff that's translucent, letting in light but not eyeballs.

Remove the contact paper. Use Goo Gone to remove the adhesive. You can put up frosted or translucent patterned contact paper or you can spray paint the block with frosted spray paint.

I did t notice in your post, is this for certain contact paper? It could just be the vinyl that sheets to the glass, which would be great! That just comes off.

If it is regular contact paper, i agree with the others, to peel it off. Start at a corner and having patience, begin to peel it away from the glass. If you notice it getting to difficult to pull with it ripping, then put some goo gone right there where it starts to get too sticky. another Product that will work and you can spray it, WD 40!!! That stuff is good for everything!

Certainly you can use the vinyl that clings to the glass (ive had it on a window for 15 years now and it still is perfect). Or you can use a roduct that will permanently “frost” or etch the glass.

actually a blow dryer will remove the contact paper. and then i would check into a spray can of some kind of tint to let natural light in while still having some privacy.

Try vinegar and water in a spray bottle equal parts. Totally saturate area then it should peel right off.

You can buy a frost that coats glass this can also be removed if at later date you would want to remove or use a frosted contact papeR or even etch a nice design in blocks after removing old paper with blow dryer and a vinegar and water spray To remove glue good luck and have fun.
