You need a sticky glue like Tacky Glue to use on plastic, and hot glue is great on glass. Some plastic ornaments can take hot glue, but you need to test it on the back side of an ornament first. Have fun!

I'm wondering if liquid starch would work too. It works on windows, but you don't handle windows as much. Maybe spray adhesive, or dipping the lace in watered-down school glue first.

i use a fabric glue on almost everything, it dries clear, dries fast and holds, works on glass and even wood.

  • My preferred craft glue line is Aleen's. Has worked well for me including ornaments. I squirt some in a little condiment dish and dab on with toothpicks, q-tips or an old toothbrush.
