    Hi Julie,

Depending on whether you are looking for effect or utility the choices are many. For a decorative, there are plenty of fabrics and trims and oil cloth, etc. For utility, you’re best off using regular old contact paper sold by the roll in many different designs at places like Walmart.

    Good luck with your project!

The Dollar Tree also sells contact paper. You could also use a roll of wall paper which you can generally find at Goodwill, Habitat, etc. I would use double-stick tape at each of the 4 corners and random areas as needed to hold in place.

Julie...I would use contact paper but if you are lining dresser drawers I would use tissue paper after sprinkling some sachet or powder in the drawers. My mother did this for years teaching me then I have passed on to my daughters and friends.

Contact paper makes it easier to wipe clean.

  • I found pretty contact paper at my Dollar Tree and I’ve used it in my drawers and on my wood pantry shelves for years, works great and is easy to wipe clean
