hi carol. I would think the people that are looking for pallet furniture, pictures walls, love the "shabby " look. It is a farmhouse style which is worn and old. I don't think I would use paper either. I would suggest a white wash back if you want to do something to it. best of luck!
If it were me, I would do some by filling the holes and some without. Some people like a more "finished" appearance while others like the holes as it adds character. No you do not have to back them, but if you want to go the extra step, I would add felt dots on the back to avoid direct contact with the wall. Some people are picky about that, and be sure to point it out when selling them. Good luck!
Hello Carol; I would not personally fill in the holes, and as far as craft paper I would not bother.
However, you could try some with and some without, and see how they sell better!
Have fun and Take Care!
On a more positive note, what do you prefer to do,if you want to fill in the holes do so.here are some ideas https://www.pinterest.com/pin/568157309222741655/?lp=true
Thanks everybody! Home talkers are awesome!
Another idea: You could paint holiday themes on two sides so it could be turned over for a different one,ie. Christmas and Easter. This would be great yard art to prop against a tree or front porch.
