I opened up my closet and found the perfect item I needed to display pictures!
Yep, an ordinary wooden coat hanger. Clean as a whistle and seemed to be the right color wood so I left it alone. It has a nice finish on it.
It seemed a bit bare so I added a ribbon I already had.
The flower clips from the Dollar Store come in handy! Decoration or extra picture holder.
That's a postcard
Plenty of room on the wire bar. I made this clothes pin by gluing on a flower I found at Michael's. I believe there were ten to a package.
Also from Michael's packaged were felt flowers with a cute shiny center. I already had the plastic clothes pins (the pins come in a wide range of colors as do the flowers).
So, if you're like me and enjoy displaying cards or memories, this is a great way to do it. You could even hang an 8x10 picture singularly if you wanted to. Each end of the hanger has a notch and I could probably think of something that could hang from each one. How about you?
My original idea was to find a spot for my grandsons' school picture. I think I found it. Easily changes out from year to year!
