Repurposed License Plate Tray

I found these small license plates at my favorite junk shop, and decided to bring them home and decide what to do with them later! I went with a simple, but great little tray with leather strap handles.
Grabbing two plates from the same state was just a happy coincidence. I didn't even look at them closely until I got home. "Nebraska" was happenstance as well, I've never been there. I just really liked the age on the plates!
I used scrap 1x3 boards, joined together with pocket holes, as the tray itself. The plates are joined to it with screws.
