Beautiful painted shells. They will give any porch, garden, patio, walkway, interior or exterior space a nice beach vibe.
I saw a photo of these beautiful high gloss shells last year. I said to myself I am going to do this. I just loved the shiny bright colors.

What you need is:
Shells naturally
High gloss interior/exterior paint
Dropcloth

These are the three colors I chose for my shells. Blue, coral and pink.
Everything laid out and ready to go.
I started by spraying the inside of the shells first. I had 12 shells so I did 4 shells in each of my chosen colors.
I did two coats on each one. Here is the pink.
Here are coral colored ones.
After they were dry I flipped them over and did the same thing to the outside. Four of each color mixing them up. One thing I forgot to take a picture of was when you had to spray the outside which was close to the inside I put a paper towel in the hole to help keep it from spaying on the inside that I already did.
And, voila, my beautiful shiny sea shells.
I love how they turned out.
Next is to paint the porch and steps in the next week or two. They will look beautiful next to the white steps.
As long as I had the spray paint out, I thought that I would repaint the tissue holder and trash can for the guest bath. Was originally green that matched the other shower curtain. Recently changed the color so I thought the coral would be a nice pop of color. No what else can I spray paint??? Look out!! Don't get in my way!!
