Simple & Stunning DIY Envelope Pillow Tutorial

Nothing changes the look of your room faster then some simple DIY Envelope Pillows... With a few yards of fabric, some pillow forms, and a couple of hours you can have yourself some brand new beautiful pillow covers and completely change the look of your room- in a good way! This tutorial is super easy to follow and clear!
Simple DIY Envelope pillows are the perfect way to change up your room to suit the season. These are my latest "spring" pillows...
I started out with a few yards of beautiful fabrics (at least, beautiful to me - the beauty of this is you get to choose your own!)
I cut them to the size of my forms- adding extra for the seams and a few inches for the overlap on the back.
Then stitched the envelope ends, folded them right side in on themselves, and stitched up the open sides.
And in only a couple of hours I had 11 new pillow covers! (Don't worry, they weren't all for the one couch:)

Covers are easier to store than whole pillows. I like to add a zipper on mine and fringe or piping. Make up a batch of covers for different seasons and change them out instead of buying new pillows every few months. I love your color combinations, specially the purple ones.

been making those for years... i use bath type towels for the pillow covers easy to wash. i have 3 cats in the house, occasionally 6 if my mum can't get a cat sitter.
