Spring is in the air and what better time then now to build a gorgeous flower vase holder. This would also work great for a plant propagation station as well.

Follow along with me and I will show you how to create one Of your own.

Hometalk Recommends!

Make your own planter holder with these bulb vases that Amazon reviewers swear by!

Materials used:

  • 3 copper tube clamps (found in the plumbing section at Home Depot)
  • 1.5” screws (4)
  • 2” machine screws with end caps (2)
  • 3 bulb vases
  • Brass rod
  • 1” thick white oak
  • tung oil
  • black spray paint

On my table saw, I ripped (cut) 1” strips. You will need in total, 6 pieces. Use mitre saw to cut to length

4 pieces at 9”

1 piece at 14”

1 piece at 16”

on each 9” piece, cut one end at 31.6 degrees and the Other end at 26 degrees. Not parallel.

match up the points of the 26” angles of two pieces and drill two holes in the Center of the points. Repeat this for the 4 pieces.

I spray painted all the screws black and let them dry.

After the screws are dry, insert and tighten the machine screw and end cap into the top hole.

repeat this so you end up having two pieces looking like the picture.

Glue and clamp the longer pieces in between the two sides as the picture shows. Allow the glue to dry and then drill into the ends so you go through the leg and the cross piece. and screw in the screws you painted black.

Apply tung oil on the entire piece and allow to dry.

Take the copper tube clamps and bend around the neck of each bulb vase.

insert the brass rod into the bottom hole and insert the copper clamps that’s are in the bulb vases onto the brass rod. Feed it though to the other end of the stand.

fill with water and add flowers of your choice.

i absolutely love this flower vase holder. I hope you enjoyed it as well.
