Easy
My take on the ever-popular growth chart ruler has a space theme for my aspiring rocket scientist, complete with glow-in-the-dark stars and a rocket that soars as my son grows. For a full tutorial, please visit our blog.
Growth chart ruler in its new home across the hall from our son's growing up gallery (http://www.dejongdreamhouse.com/2012/11/growing-up-gallery.html).
I used Rustoleum Cobalt Blue Glitter spray paint. It's the perfect galaxy glue!
I used a glow-in-the-dark pen for the inch marks.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out vinyl numbers in a NASA font, magnetic tape, and a wood rocket from Hobby Lobby.
Final touches include glow-in-the-dark stars and adding our son's height in silver Sharpie.
