I have all these amazing vases from flowers my husband has sent me over the years. I cannot bear to part with them, but a few of them look exactly the same and I thought I am crafty, I am make that into something a little different!!

So I picked out a cylinder vase (which you can actually get the same one at dollar tree) and decided to make it look fancy!

I took strips of vinyl and wrapped it around the vase in various spirals to make a random pattern. I then added etchall creme to the jar to etch everywhere there was glass with the vinyl acting as a resist. Youc an really do just about any design you wan to the vinyl strips - s ky is limit!

At the top of vase I added 3 strips of glitter vinyl to the top in a gold, silver, and black to a little interest. I picked out these colors because they work for every season of the year!

The final vase is cool, different and it also has a personal touch since it was a vase my hubby gave me, I just spruced it up a bit :) Pop on over to my  BLOG for a few extra tips and additional pictures about this project!
