After visiting Italy this summer and seeing field after field of sunflowers I have been going a little sunflower crazy. I want to show you how to make sunflower decorations for your tabletop or home decor. You can see more of my crafts and creations here.

These cute little balls covered with sunflowers are just the perfect thing to brighten up a coffee table, a mantel or serve as a centerpiece for a dining table!

All you need for this project is right here! Some artificial sunflowers, styrofoam balls and wire cutters.

I began with styrofoam balls. You can use any size. I actually used 2 different sizes, a 6 inch and two 4 inch balls for my centerpieces.

Cut the blooms off of the sunflower bush and leave about one inch of stem.

Push the stems into the styrofoam ball.

Make sure you push the stems all the way in so the back of the bloom sits right agains the styrofoam.

Keep pushing the blooms in all around the ball, leaving no white styrofoam showing between the blossoms.

When you are finished you have these bright sunflower balls to display anywhere you would like! If you want to see more ways to make sunflower decorations, check out my post! I would love to have you stop by my blog,  Celebrate & Decorate for the full tutorial as well as sign up for my latest creations, posts, recipes, exclusives, and more...
