Super Cute & Easy Modge Podge Initials

30 Minutes
Modge Podge home decor items are so easy & fun. Check out this cute Initial that I did in a matter of minutes.
Initials are so popular as home decor items now~ rustic, wood, metal or paper~ I love them all. When I saw this plain one, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. This one was purchased at Michaels on sale for $2.00.
I decided to paint the back and sides to produce a more finished look. I then used one of my favorite colors & brand~ Coastal Blue by General Finishes. It was paint that I had on hand so no additional cost for that.
I then used Modge Podge Paper because I was going to use napkins to cover my initial. Again... something that I already had on hand. If you've never used it~ it couldn't be any easier, just follow the simple directions.
These are the pretty napkins that I decided to cover my initial with. I love anything floral but you could use any pattern that you love. Be careful though as some patterns may be harder to match up if you use a large initial.
Here is a close up so you can see how the edges look finished after I painted them.
And here is the finished product. So so easy to do and what a cute piece to add to your Spring decor or mantel.
