Did you know you can purchase clean paint can lids at a paint store? You can! Of course, you will probably have to purchase the lid + can but for a couple bucks, this is a palatable deal. And did you know that these paint can lids make for 'super' wall decor as part of a heroic gallery wall?
Measure the circumference of inside, flat part of the lid. Mine measured 5.5". Download and print out the FREE superhero emblems available on my site.
Some of the emblems will fit perfectly within the paint can lid. Others, such as Superman, will not. Cut out a circle from a piece of colorful scrapbook paper and adhere the smaller emblem on top.
Apply a ring of Mod Podge to paint can lid. Place the emblem on top of the glue. Use your plastic spatula to gently press away any bubbles or wrinkles.
Check out these super emblems as part of a heroic gallery wall as well as more simple, thrifty superhero decor ideas.

OUI yogurt glass containers are soooooo nice but no lids. Too good to throw away. Small canning jar lids fit perfectly with a rubber band or hair band secured around it.

Great Ideas! I also use these lids as coffee mug covers for gifts during Christmas. I buy Dollar Store Christmas mugs. I decoupage mason jar lids with old Christmas cards and seal picture with Elmer's glue or Mod Podge. Small or large mason jar lids can be used depending on size of the coffee mug. I got many praises for a cover for the top of the mug. .
