Textured Crochet Spike Coaster

Crochet coasters are among the easiest patterns to make. Crochet Coasters are always fun to make and they work up pretty quick. They are among the easiest pattern to make.They make great decor for your table setting and they are great for gifting too. You can use them for everything.

Today I am sharing the pattern for this pretty Textured Spike Coaster.This coaster is made with Double Crochets and Front Post Double Crochets.These Front Post Double Crochets gives this coaster the unique Spike Textured look.

Round 1:-


Start with a Magic Circle.

12 Double Crochet in the circle.

Pull the yarn end to close the gap.

Slip Stitch on top of the 1st Double Crochet.

12 Stitches.

Round 2:-


Start with Chain 2.(Not Counted as a Stitch)

1 Double Crochet in the same stitch.

1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stitch.

Repeat *(1DC,1FPDC)

Slip stitch on top of the 1st Double Crochet.

24 Stitches.

Round 3:-


Start with Chain 2( Not Counted as a stitch)

1 Front Post Double Crochet.

2 Double Crochet in the next stitch.

Repeat*(1 FPDC,2DC).

Slip Stitch on top of the 1st Front Post Double Crochet.

36 Stitches.

Round 4:-


Chain 2.(Not Counted as a Stitch)

1 Double Crochet each in the next 2 Stitches.

2 Front Post Double Crochet in the next stitch.

Repeat *(1DC,1DC,2FPDC)

Slip Stitch on top of the 1st Double Crochet.

48 Stitches.

Round 5:-


Start with chain 2.(Not Counted as a Stitch)

1 Double Crochet each in the next 3 stitches.

2 Front Post Double Crochet in the next stitch.

Repeat*(1DC,1DC,1DC,2FPDC)

Slip Stitch on top of the 1st Double Crochet.

60 Stitches.

Round 6:-(Border Round)


Chain 1.

1 Single Crochet in each stitch around.

Slip stitch on top of the 1st Single Crochet and weave off yarn ends.

Don't they look pretty!!!!!!!
