Chalk Couture transfers, as well as the squeegees, can be used for ink or paste. The only difference is using either paste or ink. So if you have a transfer that you LOVE and want to have it on a pillow, t-shirt, towel or hat, all you have to do is use the ink and heat set it.

I have used this transfer on a chalkboard, a cutting board, a serving tray and now on a tea towel!

Make sure to watch the video to see the tips for using ink. It is similar to using chalk paste, but by following the tips, you will certainly have a great turn out on your project.

Because you use a silk screen, the project will look perfect! Just make sure you use the ink sparingly and off-load the ink on the blue part of the transfer before scraping across the silk screen.

I always do a "finger-check" before removing my transfer to make sure I don't have any ink on my hands. If you have ink on your fingers and then touch your fabric, you could accidentally get ink where you don't want it!

To make this permanent, you simply need to heat-set it with an iron. The heat-setting is what takes the longest. Four minutes on each side will make this design permanent. Once heat-set, this can be used and washed just like any other towel!
