I love colorfully-designed tissue paper, and use it for all sorts of applications ever since. Finding an 8×10 canvas lying around my craft room, I decided to decoupage an easy tissue paper canvas photo display.

Materials:

  • Mod Podge Gloss
  • Canvas
  • Foam Brush
  • Ribbon or Twine
  • Tissue Paper

Step 1: Gather your supplies and cut or tear your tissue paper into squares.

Step 2: Start mod podging your pieces of tissue paper onto your canvas. I worked in small sections, applying Mod Podge, adding the tissue paper, and moving to another section. Once a section was dry, I went back and added more Mod Podge and layered more tissue paper.

Almost there! Once dry, add 2-3 coats of Mod Podge, letting your canvas dry fully in between coats.

Step 3: For a little extra color and pattern, I added a length of washi tape around the sides of my canvas. But this is optional!

And that’s it! Display on a shelf or wall, step back, and admire your new creation!

Super easy and cute!

Thanks for reading all about my mod podged tissue paper canvas!

Hope you have a lovely day!
