Top 10 Uses For Antlers

Do you have antlers laying around and don’t know what to do with them? I’ve been in Pinterest mode lately, searching for ways to incorporate my antlers into my decor. I’ve come across some pretty amazing ideas and I knew I had to share. Some of you are super crafty and I know you can easily accomplish any of these!

Okay, first off. I just wanted to insert this little definition from Wikipedia. Over the past couple years I’ve received some very hateful emails & comments about us even owning antlers. So lets get the record straight, shall we? Antlers are shed each year. This means, that there are many pairs laying around the woods, easily accessible. “antlers are shed and regrown each year.” Yes, there are men who hunt deer, elk, moose etc. But this is also legal. God put animals on this earth to feed our bodies. As long as you’re using the meat to feed your family and servicing the animal for good purposes, it’s A-OK in my books.

Okay, lets get back to decor, shall we?

Can we just take a sec to go all heart eyes on these? I’m not crafty. At all. Yes I can build, yes I can style, yes I can design. No I cannot paint in the lines and create pretty things.

I made one of these in our last home. I simply just drilled a hole through the antler & then screwed it onto the wood. Then put hooks on the back of the wood and hung.

This is my favourite. I’m a huge sucker for gody/boho necklaces. Last year I bought a similar looking necklace with a real sharks tooth – so having a end of a antlers tip is really turning the wheels in my head. Can I be crafty enough to make one of these….

Head on over to our blog to see the rest of the uses!
