Turn an Old Picture Frame Into a Barnwood Frame

Do you have an old boring-looking picture frame? Let's transform it into a gorgeous barnwood frame in just a few easy steps!
Start with an old picture frame, I used a simple 810 frame here. And some barn wood: can't find barns in San Diego! Well, these weathered fence boards are almost just as beautiful, right?
Next, measure and cut the wood. If you are using a miter saw, it will be more accurate. If you use other saws with a guide, then cut 3 of the 4 pieces first, use them to mark the 4th piece.

Use glue and staples to join the 4 pieces together.
Final step: use hot glue and glue the picture frame to our wood frame.
Attach a couple of small screws and wire at the back of the wood frame for hanging. Super simple!
