Sometimes we buy items because they are on sale. And end up not using them because they look bland or plain boring.

I had the same experience with this frame which I bought online for 2USD only. Instead of throwing it, I decided to upcycle it into a baby photo frame to make good use of it. Cheap and fun way to decorate your baby room :)

And that's my cute nephew 💖

Aside from the elephant, you can get creative with the colors to match your theme.

Follow along to make this cute craft. :)

To make the elephant, mix white clay with a small amount of black to achieve the gray color. Check the picture above on how to make the body parts.

Elephant is done :)

Here we made balloons. Make a circle and pinch the sides of it to create the shape and add a small square-like shape at the bottom for the handle.

To create the cloud, make a half-circle and cut the sides. Smoothly form it into a cloud.

Note: Pro-tip, wash your hands before holding white clay as it can easily gather dust.

It should look like this

Next, I made a crescent moon by cutting blue clay with a perfume lid. You can use any circle object here if you do not have a cutter.

To achieve dimension with the star. Place a cling wrap on top of the clay.

You can do this technique if you don't want flat shape

For the letters stencil. Print out the name in Word. You can use any fonts. I just used s simple bold font here. Then cut it using your Exacto knife.

We are almost done! :)

Let everything dry for a day. And use superglue to attach it to the frame. I also used a cookie string for the balloon. It's the most difficult part of this process so keep your patience :D

I made video for a step-by-step guide you can follow.
