Upcycled Clock- Beach Shabby Chic

Take an outdated clock and give it a new theme.
Before- An old clock I had around but didn't suit my new beachy theme.
Create a mix of approx . 90% sand + 10% glitter. Above photo is a different color sand because I forgot to photograph the package before I started. I do that often. Bought the sand for $1.00 at Dollar Tree and glitter at Walmart.
Coat the face with Modpodge and then cover with sand and glitter and shake off the excess. Be sure and mark the placement of clock numbers along the edge using a chalk mark. I needed a second coat of modpodge and glitter sand in order to cover up the underlying face print of the original clock. You can apply the second coat after the first one has dried to a hard finish after 24 hrs.
Add seashell along the chalk marks.
I referred to it as beach shabby chic.
