You can make just the prettiest spring flower centerpiece for your spring table, just by folding and attaching pieces of felt. Want to see how? Read on, but before that, grab your FREE TEMPLATE at AppleGreen Cottage to make your project even easier!
Felt flowers are usually made by one of four basic techniques, rolling, folding, stacking or assembling individual petals. This time, I'll show you how to use the folding technique. Easy and effective!
Start of by getting my free template and deciding on the form of petals you want to create. Then cut 6 pieces of the selected designs (there are 4 designs on the template), using your household scissors and a soft sheet of felt.
Start with the first petal: fold it in half and then again - see the image. then start sewing it together (or simply use a hot glue gun, totally up to you!)
Keeping one of the petals as base, start adding folded pieces onto the base.
Once you've added all, feel free to back them by a few leaf-formed pieces of felt. A good combination of colors will bring the felt flowers to life! Enjoy your work! And make more of these little cuties, off course!

For a more elegant, wavy and three-dimensional effect on leaves, check out my  other felt flowers tutorial - here. Still easy!
