Where Did I Put My Glasses/sunglasses?

I have prescription glasses and sunglasses. I had them in the car, bedroom, living room, etc. I could never find the pair I wanted when I needed to so I needed to have one place for them, organized, visible, w/out taking up to much space.
So I started with one of my wood pallet plaques from Walmart. Gave it a coat of Waverly chalk paint, with brown wax wash on top waited for dry time. Grabbed some wood clothes pins. Burned them a little (going for a rustic look). Found a 3 pack of thicker black clothes pins at Michael's for $.50. I sanded them to give a weathered, aged look. Hot glued the clothes pins on the plaque randomly. I had a wired piece of brown twine I weaved through the slats. Clipped up glasses and done! I think this would be a great idea for teenagers college dorm room or people that don't like clutter.

Oh Wow, that's really wonderful, finally you got the place to keep all the sunglasses safe. Its very funniest thing, no?? We all are crazy for buying all the lovable accessory without thinking about how would we manage keeping them on the right place. After reading this I suddenly got to remember about one of my friends who is also crazy for making a collection of Ray-Ban copy sunglasses which he use to buy from http://elsunglasses.com/ . Due to his messy habit of not keeping the things on the right place, he miss to get the things at the time. I would Recommend him your idea for keeping sunglasses safely.

Great idea! For a completely different decorating style, I see the glasses & pins as dragonflies on a muted flowered background.
