I use wood in many forms to create different items. Here are a few examples of home and garden decor I created from wood.
This is a bathroom accent wall created with wood trim, cut and stained with 5 different colors. It is glued and nailed to the wall.
This is a pallet plant hanger made from a pallet and painted with country colors. It is usually filled with trailing plants.
This is a Thanksgiving pallet wood sign which is painted with acrylic paint with a rustic rope hanger .
This a piece of found wood. I first stained it and inserted clay pots into holes I cut with a biscuit cutter. I added rope around each pot. You could also add seasonal flowers.
This is definitely one of my favorite creations from pallet wood. I painted the tiles and then sealed them with a mat spray.
I used wood sticks to create this "tree".

And there you have it, a few examples of projects I've created using wood, I hope you like them.
Suggested materials:
  • I used different yes of wood, stain, and acrylic paint.   (Some wood was bought at a home store. Some was found in the woods. The pallets were bought locally for $2.00 each.)
  • Clay pots, rope.
