I found these adorable wall pockets at a yard sale for .50¢!! Now, I have to admit, I thought they were already shabby & pretty but, they just didn't go in the cabin.
So, I grabbed me a can of Valspar spray paint in an antique white & went to town.

First, I gave it 2 coats of an antique white, eggshell spray paint by Valspar.
I let it dry most of the day since I always have 20 projects going at once, I went and finished up some other things & came back to it when it was good & dry. Next, I added a brown sugar glaze by Paint Couture the Collection. My very favorite of all glazes.
The one on left has been glazed.
Lastly, I filled it with some wheat for a Fall look & hung them from an old cedar stick. I love how they turned out! Not bad for .50¢!
The good part is, I can just change out the wheat & update it each Holiday or season.
Finished product!
