This was how I got privacy in this Master Bedroom Bathroom. Really exciting - right? LOL

Then I saw Simple Southern Charm's Stained Glass Solution for Privacy on Doors & Windows: http://www.hometalk.com/diy/windows-doors/windows/diy-stained-glass-privacy-doors-windows-4870688  .

Inspiration struck! But the thing about me is that almost always have to add my own touch to any project I see and of course, this was just one window, not an office door. So here's how I started.
This is part of a wall décor non-adhesive decal that I got from aliexpress.com . The decal in the picture is MUCH larger than it really is so check your measurements.

After I did the bottom half, I decided to put part of the decal to the top part too. (no separate pic). The I started using the Plaid Gallery Glass. I found this in many places, but the pricing on Amazon was much higher than what I paid at Hobby Lobby - in store.

I started using the Clear Plaid Gallery Glass paint and did three coats just like Simple Southern Solution suggested. It turned out pretty good, but I still wanted a bit more privacy so I went back to Hobby Lobby and purchased 2 - 2 oz bottles of the Frosted Plaid Gallery Glass paint. I applied that to get the results below.
Look at the glass! It is now really frosted. I am going to take down that blind and I decided that I had to paint that dark wood white.

Here's how it looks with the white paint - although the pic is a bit dark.
The white looks better. (On the side you can see the flowers my hubby gave me for Mother's Day. :)  I still had one more item to add. I had originally thought I'd add red curtains but they were just too wide and took away from the design on the glass so I cut the curtains in half lengthwise to make them thinner on each side and 'hemmed' them using Stitch Witchery.

This is the final look. I love it and can now enjoy privacy in this bathroom.

I like the look. Do you wish you had done the frosted before adding the stickers? Does the frosted mute it's color?

Was it the Gallery Glass that provided the frosted look and privacy?

Gives the term, "Rose Window" a whole new meaning! I would have left the drapes off. Maybe use a balloon shade, something that comes down from the top

Thanks Lisas. That's the beauty of DIY, you can customize anything to what you want. :) I often am inspired by someone else's idea then make a change so it's my own. I'll bet you do the same thing.
