Adding to my growing stock of wooden games, I decided that it was time to make one for when I am 'Billy No Mates', and the obvious selection was Solitaire.
The actual construction of this is very similar to my last post for Chinese Checkers, first of all I downloaded a template and printed it to size.

I then took some 3/4" oak laminated board, and using my DIY circle cutting jig, firstly I cut the circle with a 14" diameter, then cut a channel at a 12" diameter to retain the marbles once they have been finished with.
That done, I taped the template onto the board, and punched holes to mark the centre of each hole I needed.

Taking my plunge router with a bull nose bit, I then cut all the holes freehand,
Then it was just a case of finishing.
