Transform and brighten up a room with a peel and stick wallpaper shiplap for under 50$ !

BEFORE

The whole room was painted the same dull color. I've always wanted a shiplap look as an accent wall but I did not want to put holes in our wall. Plus I wanted a project that would not take too much time and money, and easy to change/remove in the future if I change my mind.

I started with freshening up the paint in our bedroom with Behr Marquee Ivory Lace with eggshell finish.

Next, we carefully applied the peel and stick wallpaper that I got from Amazon. The key to applying the peel and stick wallpaper is patience. Lots of it. And take it slow to remove the wrinkles and bubbles along the way. This wall paper is surprisingly very sticky. We have to remove and stick it a couple of times without any problem. Be careful when you handle it though..it is a little bit on the thin side.

ALMOST DONE!

The shiplap accent wall made the room look brighter and bigger!

We also made some minor changes -- changing to bigger lamps, new curtains, updated the floor trims, and added window trims!
