Hi there, Hometalk Friends! Are you looking for budget friendly farmhouse style art? Maybe you’re like me and have admired gorgeous paper placemats but passed on them because they just aren't practical. A few years ago, I couldn't resist several placemats with charming vintage inspired designs. I brought them home, but since the paper wasn't practical, I've always wanted to find a more suitable use for them, and I finally came up with a solution…

I like to create budget friendly art by flipping the canvas to the back, which creates a rustic farmhouse style frame. Click here to find canvases!

16” x 20” is the perfect size for these placemats. To make your own: First, attach a sawtooth hanger to the front side of the canvas. Next, arrange the placemat inside the back frame of the canvas. Make sure it is smooth and even. Then, attach the placemat with double-sided tape. Click here to find pretty paper placemats!

 Voila! Charming farmhouse style art you can whip up in no time! {TIP: Use a pretty gift bag or printable to create a similar look if you are unable to find paper placemats!}
