Create a Valentine LOVE Sign!

Easy
You can use any size scrap piece of wood or cut one to the size you desire. I used some old rulers for the letters, but you could use paint sticks or shims.
You can paint or stain your board. I stained mine a dark walnut. The rulers were white on the other side, so I didn't have to paint them.
I used this small Ryobi compound miter saw to cut my letters. You could always use a miter box too. I cut all the letters except for the "O" and glued them on.
For the "O" I cut out a heart fro another board and painted it red. Then I added a scrap of lace and a button to the .heart
.I used my drill press to make two holes at the top and used a thin piece of barbed wire for the hanger.
I added a piece of ribbon and the sign was complete. Cheap Valentine's Day sign. The hardest part of the project was waiting for the stain and paint to dry.
