Hey there! I have the easiest and quickest diy wall hanging tutorial for you. I was looking for some wall hangings for my daughter's room and decided to just make my own. All you need is a hoop, some macrame rope and some beads. You could even use an embroidery hoop. Faux flowers add a nice touch but they are optional. This is an inexpensive project and lots of fun.

You will need some macrame cording or rope for this tutorial. Cut 20-30 16 inch ropes.

Take a 12 inch hoop or embroidery hoop and make a series of Lark's Heads knots. To make a lark's head knot, you need to take a piece of your 16 inch ropes - fold it half so there is loop at one end. Take the loop, and place it on top of the hoop you are attaching it to. Pull the ends of the string through the loop!

I made a total of 28 knots - but you can add more or less depending on how wide you want it to be. After my rope was attached via the lark's head knots , I took 2 adjacent cords and strung some wooden beads on them.

Finally, I attached some faux flowers and faux eucalyptus to make it a little more whimsical and girly. The flowers are totally optional. I think it looks pretty just with the rope and beads.

Heres how it looks in her room. Super cute and girly - just like her! icon

If you have been wanting to get into Macrame - this is a great first project. There are really no knots other than the lark's head knot.
