With this project I made door wreaths that incorporated the terrazzo design. I like making things the easy and fast way so, to achieve this, I used contact paper.

12-inch wood discs

Materials:

1) 12-inch wood round discs

2) Contact paper

3) Faux leather or Whiteboard thin tape

4) Cord, rope, or twine

5) Vinyl decals

6) Paint or stain

7) Assorted ribbons & embellishments

8) Glue, scissors or X-acto knife

Half of the wood round is with the terrazzo and the other half is either painted, stained or with a contrasting design of contact paper. I tried different combinations and, most importantly, no gluing here…woohoo! I used a brayer to make sure the contact paper is adhered to the board.

Trim off the excess using scissors or an X-acto knife.

I partitioned the boards with either the Dollar Tree faux leather or Amazon’s whiteboard thin tape.

Vinyl wordings were prepared with my cutting machine but, of course, you can use any form of diy word decor…laser cut, wood or galvanized that are readily available in craft stores.

After attaching the vinyl decals, I glued cords, ropes or twines all around the edge leaving a loop on the top for hanging.

Then, I embellished with ribbons, trinkets and some greeneries.

Four different combinations ready for display on any door year-round.

This EarthlingBeauty wreath was made for my daughter’s Etsy shop of crystals.
