DIY Botanical Wall Gallery
Does anyone else love botanicals as much as I do? I absolutely can’t get enough of them! Have you seen though how expensive they are to buy and they are even more pricier if you want them framed. Well, guess what, I gotcha, these are probably the most inexpensive botanical wall art that you will find. When I was refreshing my formal dining room, I wanted something simple, clean looking but I wanted it to make a statement. My wall is huge too but I didn’t want to cover the entire wall. I decided to make a gallery wall using 6 different botanical frames. I’m so glad I did because I love how my gallery wall turned out.
I used very inexpensive, under $3 each, black frames that I purchased from Walmart. I spray painted them gold, purchased some unframed botanicals from Amazon, framed them and voila they were finished. I will give you a hint though, if you buy card stock in 8x10 or any size you wish, you can find a lot of free printables online and print your own. The ones I purchased weren’t pricy so I was good buying them already made. You can choose to paint them any color, I decided on gold because I love how botanicals in gold frames look.
Alright, let’s get started! 🍃🌿🌱
The frames are 11x14 black format picture frames by Mainstay, matted to fit a 8x10 photo but you don’t need to matt it if you don’t want to. Although, I think they look more finished.
Here is a picture of what the back of the frame looks like.
Spray paint the frames after removing the glass and allow them to dry completely before inserting the botanicals. I chose this color, it’s called Antique Gold by Design Masters. I think it’s a gorgeous gold and I use it for anything gold. You can purchase it from Amazon or Michael’s.

Next, insert the botanicals into the dried frames.

Here is the fun part, deciding how you want to style the gallery wall. There are so many different options, let your imagination go wild or search on the net. I decided to keep it simple and clean.
