Grab your hot glue gun, some driftwood pieces, cardboard, and twine and create your own beachy little driftwood heart wall art.

Here's a DIY wall art project with a little piece of coastal inspiration.

Grab a piece of cardboard. This won't be visible so you can cut up an old box.

Or, you can use a wood heart shape if you want it to look completely finished.

Draw a heart shape.

Or, use a heart shape.

Cut out your heart shape.

Start adding driftwood to your heart using a hot glue gun.

And you definitely want to overlap and layer your driftwood to create dimension.

Keep in mind, as you are layering your pieces, to add pieces outside your base heart.

This way you won't see the base from the front.

Cut a pice of twine, about 4" long.

Turn your heart over.

Add hot glue to the top of the heart and add your twine...one side at a time.

Now you have a beautiful Beach House inspired piece of wall art.

Here's another version I did using a different type of driftwood.

And, as a bonus, the video includes the "I Love You" Painting DIY, shown in the photo above.

I can't wait to hear what everyone thinks of this project!
