I've been wanting to make felt succulents for a while and finally got around to it. This sweet little Felt Succulent Wall Hanging is going into my daughter Scout’s room, but I’ll definitely make another for my room. Scout will be 10 years old in a couple months and has been begging me to give her room a makeover. Her style is a little more modern than mine and she prefers warm earth tones over bright colors so I kept that in mind while making this.

I had this template in three different sizes. You can find the template on my blog or print your own from Pinterest.

Trace and cut the succulent pieces out of felt.

Start with the smallest piece and roll together. Stitch the succulent piece together with embroidery floss.

When the smallest piece is, add the next size and wrap around the first. stitch the middle piece and then add the final piece, securing with a few stitches.

Set the succulents aside and grab two pieces of felt for the wall hanging. Place the felt into an embroidery hoop, creating a pocket.

Stick the succulents in the pocket (slightly) and add a few stitches to secure.

Trim any access felt and add a ribbon for hanging.
