When one sock goes missing from the laundry, I usually just throw it in the drawer and hope I find it's mate soon, but sometimes it gets buried under the other socks never to be seen again, so I came up with a solution! I decided to make a fun piece of chalkboard wall decor that also would hold my socks missing a mate.

I used items I already had on hand so this project was free for me!

Supplies:
Wooden Frame - I used a 12x12 size
(5) Clothes Pins
Paint color(s) of your choice
Rapid Fuse glue
12x12 piece of Luan
Rust-Oleum primer
Rust-Oleum Chalkboard spray paint

Step 1: Paint your wooden frame and clothespins and let dry. I used white for the frame ans a light teal for the clothespins.

Step 2: Paint the piece of luan with primer and let dry. Then apply 2 coats of chalkboard paint and let dry.

Step 3: Secure the chalkboard piece into the frame using the tabs on the back, then attach picture hanging hardware to the back.
Step 4: Measure where you want the clothes pins to go and attach them to the bottom of the frame with wood glue.
Hang your art on the wall and write a funny saying on the chalkboard!
