This is a really fun project for an outdoor building, or even for the walls in your home. It's incredibly simple but makes a fun statement in a room or on a building! You can see more easy and affordable DIY projects here.
Start by printing your letters out on regular computer paper and cutting them out. You could use a script font and make it all one piece, but that will be a more intricate cut.
Use a jigsaw (don't know how? I can teach you right here!) to cut the letters out. Move slowly and steadily, and try to keep your lines relatively wide so that your pieces don't break.
If you need to get inside a letter (such as a P or an O), you can use a drill to create a hole in the letter to get you started. Then, fit your jigsaw blade inside the hole and you can easily access the rest of the lines.
Once you're done, sand your letters and paint them whatever color you'd like. Then, you're ready to hang it! I used a nail gun to just nail mine directly into the side of my building, but I've also used Command Strips pretty effectively to hang these before. It's a SUPER simple project, but it's a lot of fun!
