Easy Canvas Art
Artwork can be very expensive. I wasn’t wanting to spend hundreds of dollars on a piece for my office space.
I decided to try and create something on a canvas frame using Acrylic paint.
Materials needed
- i used black, 2 shades of grey and white acrylic paint
- canvas print
- 1x4 pine for frame
- general finished flint color stain
- paint brush
so Simple to create this look. Add streaks of paint in variety of shades and then use your paint brush to blend them down.
I added white paint in towards the end to help create a more light blended ombré look.
Blend until you are happy with how it looks. You can add as much dark and light as you want.
Once the canvas was dry I framed it with pine stained in flint color. You do not need to miter the corners if you don’t want to. I choose to. I attached the frame pieces with brad nails.
