Friends Request
It’s been a while since I posted a project, but I had a request for this, so here it is
Started out with a few wine barrel staves I had. Had choose the straightest ones for this project.
Once I chose them, I cut them in half, which is about 20”
Then I glued them and nailed to a stabilizing bracket, one on each end, about 8” in on each side
Once the glue was completely dry ( 24 hrs later) I did a white wash paint style.
i let the paint dry a few hours, once dry, I began free hand painting the letters, and the heart!
Once I finished the board, I grabbed the mason jar, and painted that a baby blue color, letvthat dry a few hours and distressed it a little.
Once all finish with the mason jar, I attached to the board, secured with screws ( husband had to do this part for lack of strength)
here it is finished!, my friend likes Sunflowers, but didn’t have any on hand, so I used these,
I added the raffia for a little extra finis!
And this was her inspiration!!
