So, you may have seen me talk from time to time about how I’m always trying to find ways to keep Kennedy occupied. This was one of those attempts. And it worked!

Chris bought me this alarm clock a few years ago... The only problem was that the giant NEXxTECH just wasn’t doing it for me. He didn’t realize that and I forgive him. He, in turn, forgives me for writing this post about how I made a craft out of his gift.
So, I wanted to make it prettier and I also thought it might be fun to take it apart with Kennedy and see if we can figure out how to put it back together. If not, no harm done. She would have seen the inside of a clock, and I wouldn’t be out a clock because this one has been in a box for 2 years.
[Psst! Another great way to welcome spring... Spring Pillow Covers Under $10!]
We unscrewed the feet and the bells that were holding everything together and that was pretty much all we needed to do, after taking off the back cover.
So basically we just cut this piece of scrapbook paper out and stuck it on there, cutting a little slit so it would fit over the hands. I let Kennedy choose and cut the paper. We tried to kind of make it round, but that didn’t really happen. And that’s OK, because it looks like an egg and Easter is just around the corner!
